How to make your partners Birthday special

Does your partner have a special treat he/she likes? Something that you really only get for very special occasions. This year I opted for a cake that completely matches the rest of the decor we have planned for the celebration. Black and gold drip red velvet cake with vanilla butter cream - sounds intense and yes it is but it's just perfect for a champagne birthday and it is a decor pieces as well as a cake to cut and eat.

Let's be real, none of us really "need" anything, we buy the things we really need or want and everything else is just the cherry on top. For a birthday, especially a round birthday, I love giving gifts that can be used frequently or opt for a non-material gift like an experience. Think of some amazing decor, I opted for all black and cold: balloons, gold candles, number balloons, sparklers, champagne and a bunch of friends and family and some great music!
