Manuel Facchini SS19: Milan Fashion Week

The Manuel Facchini SS19 presentation during Milan Fashion Week was one of the most surprising and inspiring one. After entering the rather dingy space which was probably an old factory building, the darkness was broken with beautiful gowns and intricate detailing of the clothing. The models were dresses in beautiful gowns, and embellished cut out dresses, highlighted by the spotlights throughout the space.

The contrast highlighted throughout the presentation started with these gorgeous gowns, and models walking in pools of water. The gowns became more soaked as the presentation went on and so were the boots and shoes. It was a beautiful contrast of glamour and darkness.

My personal highlight was the detailing in the cut out designs, and the punch of colour in this dark space. The models were styled tone in tone with red lipstick and sleek hairstyles. The red gowns showed the soaked bottom part so much... the bottoms of the gowns just dragging in the water.
