I have great news, the InterContinental Hotel is offering a holiday package this year, which will not only make you feel amazing, but also has a great cause. The "Gingerbread Package" will put you right into the festive spirit. The hotel all together is decorated with beautiful garlands, glistening lights and multiple Christmas tress. Once entering the beautiful, modern room, you will find a pre-built gingerbread house with the decor options and hot chocolate.

How about a little break from regular life, just for a night? It never has to be a huge trip to get some relaxation in, sometimes a staycation is just the best thing ever. Just imagine packing an overnight bag, taking only a short trip and checking in and letting go of all the holiday stress... Whether you book it for yourself, as a getaway for you and your partner or for someone on your life who really needs a break, this will put a smile on someones face.

Building this gingerbread house was like stepping out of your every day life and becoming a child again - in the very best way possible. Just forgetting the schedules, agendas & to-do lists. Decorating a gingerbread house with icing and candy feels like welcome break. We watched a Christmas movie while decorating and sipped on the hot chocolate. The best way to spend the 1. Not only is building a gingerbread house fun, it is also great knowing that it comes with a good cause. Proceeds from the Package go to Habitat for Humanity. The gingerbread kit can also be purchased separately for $25 (regular price is $50 - InterContinental Hotel is covering $25). All proceeds are donated to Habitat for Humanity. This kit would make a wonderful gift for anyone on your list, or even a corporate gift.

After finishing the decor, we did not hesitate to use the pool and hot tub in the spa. I love the amenities the InterContinental has to offer and it makes for ultimate relaxation. Another Christmas movie was on the agenda, because why not?!
