CND Nail Trends | TFW 2019
When it comes to Fashion and Style, the true style factors are the details. I had the pleasure of working with CND to go behind the scenes of Toronto Fashion Week and have a super close look at what's new for nail trends for 2019.

Metallics & Shine
Playing with geometric shapes just like in the picture above is so so huge. The black and silver is something we see quite a bit and again, this is very do-able for everyone. Seeing such subtle trends is great because those are easy to ask for when going to a salon, or even DIY if you call yourself a bit of a nail talent!
Subtle Detail
Overall I am seeing that the trend is going towards a more subtle and calm nail colour and pattern. The nudes are huge, and small details like writing on 1-2 out of the five fingers and a bit of foil detail seems to be super in. This is very wearable on an every day basis so this trend is street or even office appropriate!
A Bit of Fun
There isn't a year where we see at least a bit of outrageous-ness for nail trends! This time around Greta Constantine for Andrew's nails were just everything an island girl could ever ask for! Every bright colour was used in beautiful abstract shapes and designs. It went really well with the colourful collection of plain neoprene dresses and sequins ensembles!
Now I am off to Milan to have a closer look on what is happening in the European metropolis of Fashion!
