Pitti Uomo featured countless well-known and up-and-coming designers and brands. If you have never heard about Pitti Uomo or want to know more about it, click here. While mostly men’s clothing and accessories were shown, to my excitement, there was a few women’s brands as well. Desigual immediately drew our and most other guests attention with their “showroom-house”, decorated with white leaves and bumping music. Desigual also ensured everyone’s well-being was taken care of by freshly squeezed lemonade. Definitely a welcome treat in +30 degree weather!
Looking at the new collection, the brand stayed true to its colourful patterns and flows cuts. However it also seemed to have incorporated the “white trend” and showed some amazing all white pieces like bomber style jackets, pants and dresses. I was especially impressed with the accessory line and the refined look of Desigual’s bags. A paint splatter design on quite chic structured coated canvas bucket bags, totes and cross bodies in beige, white, purple and blue hues is a fun and playful part of the new collection, and a great addition to the current white obsession!
