Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres
Majestic Elegance; not just the name, but also the feeling. I would actually describe this resort as both majestic and elegant, and as we all know, most of the time, the name of a resort rarely represents reality. But I have to tell you - the brand new Majestic Elegance All-Inclusive Resort in Costa Mujeres took my breath away from the moment when we pulled up in our Sunwing airport transfer. Every single detail about this property is just a 10/10, and trust me, I am not that easy to impress. The beautiful geometric architecture features endless spaces to chill and relax, have a drink, sunbath, be entertained, be alone, and so on, and is all designed in a modern and detailed way that we all normally only see on Pinterest.
The suites at Majestic Elegance are firstly brand new, and tastefully decorated. They also either feature a jacuzzi or private pool alongside his' and her's bathroom design, freestanding tub, king size bed and sitting and working areas. The Club level allows for 24 hr room service as well, which by the way is as delicious as eating in one of the many restaurants.

Healthy Food Options
** If you do want to indulge though there are many options available with your traditional burgers, fries, pizza, hot dogs etc. If I have the choice though, I will always opt for fresh papayas, guac and green juices! Also very noteworthy: there are gluten-free options available at every single restaurant.
When I think of All Inclusive vacations, big amounts of food and way too many meals come to mind. And as much as there are endless options throughout the resort, the focus is on fresh foods, fruits and veggies, salads and even smoothies and freshly pressed juices. For the health lover its is just paradise!

Endless Cabanas
When it comes to cabanas in resorts, it is usually a hot commodity and only available with ultra VIP status. First of all, at Majestic Elegance there are so many cabanas available that you do not have to stress over getting up at dawn and securing your cabana. These Bali beds are also available on the beach - so whatever your preference is, you will be able to find a spot. Drink service is also available at the beach, which is so luxurious and I cannot think of anything better. The entire vibe of the resort is relaxed and laid back; Bali Beds just adding to this very chill atmosphere.

Suits with Jacuzzi
One of the most luxurious features about this resort is that each suites has a private jacuzzi on the balcony. Covered for privacy it still overlooks the resort and pools. The lower rooms have a super spacious patio which features its own private pool, as well as direct access to one of the many common pools that are long and can be used to swim lanes, I did anyway!
The in-room dining is something I highly recommend. Even though there are so many amazing dining options for each meal (especially the Italian restaurant for breakfast, Mar Buffet for Lunch and Mexican Restaurant for dinner - here you go, these are my favourites!) the in-room dining is top notch. Each and every item we ordered - the vegetarian and the Mexican breakfast along with pastries and fruit were amazingly presented, hot and simply yummy. I usually stay away from room service because it rarely measures up, but this was, again, a solid 10/10.

Innovative workout classes
Some of you may read this and say, why workout classes, you are on vacay!? While other may get my point and actually be VERY excited to hear that the classes (multiple each day) at Majestic Elegance were just top notch. The varieties of workouts is unreal, from gym to pool you can part take in as many classes as you like! Pilates, Yoga, Spin, Meditation, Aerobics, Pole dancing and so much more just provide the perfect variety for everyone and every skill level. Just thinking that each of these classes would be $25+ anywhere else, this is a huge perk!

Spa & Grotto
Another big bonus of the Majestic Elegance is the spa and its beautiful grotto. Each guests gets complimentary access to the hydrotherapy pools which feature pools with different water jets and temperatures and a relaxation area with aromatherapy and heated beds (yes, you heard right!) as well as the GEM of the entire resort: The grotto! I could not believe what was in front of me, and thankfully the pictures captured the space well.
The grotto is stunning and breathtaking and an absolute must see! This is truly the perfect spot to escape. I highly recommend this for moms travelling with kids - just take a break from life here!

Unlimited a la carte Dining
You know a resort cares a lot of about the dining experience when 6 out of 8 restaurants are a la carte. Many reviews I read talked about the amazing food, I can only add to that and say the food experience was as diverse as it was beyond delicious. From Mexican, of course, to Italian, French Bistro, Japanese Hibachi & sushi, Steakhouse and more there is really nothing anyone could be missing. Each restaurant is very different in its look and feel and the ingredients are unique, so are the tastes and presentation is just artsy and beautiful. Each day can be a new and very different culinary experience here.
