We had the pleasure to see Ellie Mae as our first runway show at Toronto Fashion Week (Day 2). After travelling to Toronto that morning, we rushed to our AirBnB Loft, changed and went straight to the tends. Full of excitement and anticipation, we got seated in the front row and admired the beautiful collection by Ellie Mae. The designer’s focus on outerwear pieces and love for detail came through in the collection. Each piece was slightly different in style and shape, from drape-y knits to structured jackets, there was something for everyone To me the collection felt young and free. I felt that Ellie Mae was experimenting a lot with different fabrics and patterns. I cannot wait to see more of Ellie Mae Studios designs.
Now we are excited to see more of the #CanadianMade designers. Toronto, you have been amazing.
