Only hours after arriving in London we made our way to the world famous Oxford Street and then onwards into Soho. An impressive line up of boutiques and stores left no shopping craving unsatisfied. The streets were decorated with British flags in honour of the Queen’s 90th Birthday and that together with the red buses and the traditional Black Taxis painted a beautiful London snapshot, one that everyone knows from movies or pictures. Tt is truly incredible in real life. London has an incredibly unique charm to it, not as romantic as Paris or Prague, but rather a sophisticated and chic flair.
After wandering the streets, we stopped for a wonderful lunch at the Tea Terrace of the House of Fraser – which was super cute by the way – and then we ended up in Soho for our first Fashion Week event with Percival. The new collection was presented amongst great energy and awesome music. It seemed to be exactly the Soho vibe.
The atmosphere here is so amazing. People would rather have their drinks outside of a little bar right on the sidewalk than sitting inside. We spotted a great ice cream shop that we just could not pass up. You know me and ice cream – no matter where in the world we are, I must stop and try the ice cream, and I can confirm that thus far, I have not been disappointed!
