Fairmont Royal Palm
Marrakech, Morocco
With so much anticipation of ticking off Morocco of my never-ending travel list, I entered the Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech and the views took my breath away. Not only was the architecture of the hotel so luxe and everything I had dreamed of when thinking of Morocco, but the hotel is also situated away from the old Medina of Marrakech in lush greenery and a great golf course. Hard to take in all the impressions at once, the sweet scent of patchouli and jasmine coated the air in the lobby and added to the experience of the senses.
The Fairmont Royal Palm is not your average high end hotel, but it is a resort style vacation experience. The accommodations are spread across the property which include suites and villas, which you can of course get to by foot or be driven as well. Beautiful cacti, palm trees and other greenery make the entire resort like an oasis, not to mention that there is a perfect view of the snow capped Atlas mountains.

SUITE OFFERINGS
Our suite featured a living room, bedroom, large bathroom with a huge tub, rain shower, double sink. A huge walk-in closet really sets your stay up for a luxury experience. The spacious suite is the perfect place to hang out, pamper yourself and would be big enough for a small family as the living room features a fold out sofa. The terrace was the perfect spot to watch the sunset or enjoy some of the treats left in our suite for us!
Bed & Breakfast
The Fairmont Royal Palm offers a Bed & Breakfast option which means you have daily access to the Breakfast Buffet. Normally I shy away from these types of buffets because they are often filled with quantity over quality options. Just like all the food we had had at the Fairmont Royal Palm, the buffet was out of this world. Many different stations with both traditional moroccan options and international cuisine featured so so many options, something for everyone for sure. Each and every item we tried was beautiful. The pastries could have been from a high end french boulangerie! Fresh juices and speciality coffees were the perfect compliment to the breakfast, and so was the view over pool area and palms trees.
SPECIALITY DINING OPTIONS
A very surprising feature of the Fairmont Royal Palm was the Farm. At the farm, some of the ingredients used in the restaurant are grown, all organic. Some animals are raised here too, which is very cute to visit. The farm is used for cooking classes but also private events - which is super refreshing ad different.
Spa & Gym
The Spa is just so gorgeous, an all white oasis of zen. There are treatments offered by the Clarins Spa, but of course you can also just enjoy the beautiful indoor pool. This beautiful space was one of my absolute favourites in the entire resort, very Moroccan and very chill. The Spa offers all kinda of massages but also hair styling services.
The gym is situated in another building close to the spa. It featured its own lab pool and a very will equipped gym area, as well as multiple tennis courts, yoga studio, squash court and more.
Golfers Paradise
Being a golf appreciator, but not a golfer myself I can say that the gold course looked amazing. The setting itself behind the beautiful pool area and in front of the Atlas Mountain is gorgeous. We strolled into the Club house, which was just as beautiful in the Moroccan style then the rest of the resort. It features Le Sabra, an Italian spot for lunch, and also offers buffet options on certain days.
If you are looking for a luxury Moroccan experience that is well-rounded and very relaxing, potentially also great for families, then the Fairmont Royal Palm is it for you. There is endless activities, dining options and also offers a complimentary daily shuttle to visit the Medina of Marrakech for your convenience. It is a unforgettable experience and we cannot wait to return to the Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech.
