Holiday dressing, what does that even mean? It is a phrase that is often used during Christmas time but what specifically makes an outfit "holiday worthy"? Of course, fashion is completely open to everyones interpretation but in general the following tips will get you the look for the holidays, and it is super easy! We are talking anything that could be worn to a holiday party, on Christmas day, at Church or a company function. Dressing up for the holidays can really get you into the spirit, and make this time of the year feel very special. Small details often pull an outfit together, now see how I styled these looks by Giant Tiger.

SPARKLE
When thinking of the holiday time, I immediately think of the glistening lights in the streets and on a Christmas tree. The "Sparkle" just like in this dress adds such a festive touch and immediately feels dressy. A sparkly top, skirt or in this case a dress is just the perfect choice for this festive time. This would also be a great choice to re-wear for New Years Eve or a party in the new year. A little sparkle is always a great idea, my only suggestion would be to wear it in the evening to make sure it is appropriate. Sparkles during the daytime can be "a little much".

SOME RED
The most common and traditional holiday colour is this, Red. Although now all kinds of shades and colours can be considered "festive" when on a tree, red is still the most common one. Wearing red during the holidays just gives everyone this warm and fuzzy feeling, and after all Santa wears red, so you literally cannot go wrong wearing it too. I love the sleeve detail on this particular dress and adding a heeled bootie just completes the look and you are ready for the next holiday party or gathering.
