There is something about early morning – in any city – that is both inviting and chilly. The shops are closed, the streets are empty, the birds are beginning to wake up, and the smell is very distinctly “morning”. The morning presents a fresh start to your mind, your eyes, your nostrils, your hearing. Everything gets renewed and re-set. The light in the morning presents itself so magically (and also offers prime photoshoot lighting).
In those early morning moments on a chilly Tuesday in Venice, we ventured out to find breakfast and a comfortable space to get settled in for a good spot of people watching. On the way to the Canal, we peeked into this deserted street and began discovering the many, many angles offered in the tiniest of spaces.
