J.W. Anderson just completely blew my mind with this #LFW show. The designers are still currently presenting their collections, I can pretty confidently say that J.W.Anderson is my absolute favorite. Not only was his collection far different than the other designers that I have seen in regards to shapes and form, the play with color and neutrals also is something I am totally obsessed with.
Amazing thick fabrics, such as neoprene and stiff cotton blends, coupled with the menswear inspired cuts make the clothes drape off the models in a way that yells style. When I saw these neoprene sweaters with the net sleeve in J.W.Andersons amazing designs, which truly look like a piece of art, I seriously felt my heart skip a beat. This part made the whole collection for me! Anderson plays with flower motifs throughout his collection while just keeping the masculine feel.
The color palette is exactly my style/wardrobe right now. Neutrals with a touch of color here and there. Lots of beige, grays, blacks and whites mixed with bright orange, pink or blue is found through all the pieces in his collection. Tops, skirts and pants can be mixed and matched among each other.
Many designers have shown their collections in New York, and now in London, but this is one that particularly stood out for me. Anderson is know for his innovative creations and wearing these pieces would definitely make people turn their heads! Amazing, Amazing, amazing. This is Fashion!
