Milan; a truly beautiful city. I am equally excited to be back in Milan to both explore the city and for Milan Fashion Week. Italy is such an amazing country and the people, the food and the atmosphere are always amazing. After visiting Venice two years ago and taking only a day trip to Milan, we were really looking forward to coming back and exploring more of Milan.
Milan Fashion Week and its shows and events has made us learn the main streets and piazzas (squares) fairly quickly since the they are spread out all across the city. It is nice to get to know more about Milan but it can also definitely be tiring after a whole day of being out and about. On our first day, we watched a few runway shows and visited impressive showrooms, and even though we so wanted to enjoy some pizza and maybe some wine in the evening we just went back to the hotel and fell into bed to sleep. If you follow us on snapchat (Mon_Mode & Endoxist) you may have seen some of the day’s events.
Probably the same as most other people visiting Milan, the Duomo is one of my favourites, along with the small streets around the square that have little Gelato stores, Cafes and small boutiques. Of course, Milan is also home to major Fashion Designers that we are all obsessed with. The Press Offices of Camera Moda is right at Duomo, so we so thankful that we were able to “plug in”, re-charge and sip a cocktail while enjoying the amazing view of the Piazza Del Duomo and catching up on all our Milan Fashion Week content!
