Milan Shoe Trends seen at Milan Fashion Week SS19

I n Milan I saw a variety of different designers sharing their shoe trends for SS19! Spring is a great time to have some fun with shoes, sandals and now sneakers as these are and will stay trendy! A few styles and designs really stood out to me during Milan Fashion Week and here they are:

AGL SHOES

The bold of the bold... AGL was impressive with the statement in design. The presentation was styles inspired from the past to the present, which was very cool. So going from more traditional designs like the mesh booties to a bit more futuristic shoes like the red sandal! All in all, AGL is my cup of tea and "making a statement without screaming from the top of a building" is my style. A bit bold and yet understated is what I am trying to label this collection. Beautiful!

TODS

Tods is bringing out some Fun for SS19. Not only are the colours bright and happy, i also spy a new design of the TODS logo! Their campaign "Ciao Tods!" truly represented the charisma behind the new designs, which are in my opinion much more playful compared to previous years. Seeing a bit of snake print mixed into the chic or more spoty pieces is refreshing and needed. The bright red, pink, blue and yellow hues seem perfect for Spring time!

ALAIN TONDOWSKI

The architectural design really stands out and makes a bold statement among the remaining styles I spotted in Milan. As much as I love a bright statement shoe, the statement for Alain Tondowski is in the shape and unusually design on the heels.

ANTOLINA

This Antolina Paris collection is very different from anything I saw in Milan. I immediately thought about the hot days in Morocco or Greece when you wear all white and need that little pop of colour with a hand-made like shoe. the bright blue, and magenta could be found in a place like Santorini - if you have ever been there, the rooftops are blue, a lot of the flower bushes have magenta blossoms.

BALIDININI

Balidinini offers something for everyone. The colour palette was all over the place but what really stood out to me was the over the knee boots that are made out of this lace-type sock! How incredible does this boot look - the only concern would be how durable is the lace? Either way, I kept thinking about this boot until I sat down to write this post, so on my wish list it goes....
