I have a feeling that 2019 will be a year of less is more. Spending time with my family and old friends over the holidays put some things into perspective for me. Feeling the comfort of spending time with people who know you well, spending quality time just talking to your loved ones, making memories with family I hadn't seen in months... it just felt good. I am never one to be home sick, instead I love to travel and explore but the feeling of comfort of just being surrounded by "your people" is something money cannot buy. My goal list is usually super long, extensive, shooting for the stars, and do not et my wrong, I am still shooting for the stars, but with slightly adjusted priorities.
Instead the focus will be on health, happiness, relationships, fuelling my body with amazing nutrients and being the inspiration that I want to see from those around me. I feel that with all of these components my job and my life in general are taken care of.
If we fuel our bodies with positivity, we can have to mindset to be all that we need to be to accomplish the tasks and even go beyond our expectations. It is an old saying mindset is everything, and I truly believe that that is all we need. Self care is hugely important though, and that is something I will try to focus on this year.

Maybe you also think that less is more? Are fewer things easier to focus on and actually make a habit, rather than forcing yourself to do something that is unnatural! These are just thoughts, and of course everyone operates differently. I would rather have substantial goals and other intentions spread out across the year as things come up. Happy start to 2019!
