DON'T WAIT FOR VALENTINES DAY TO MAKE YOUR PARTNER FEEL LOVED

Every February love birds scramble for "special" ideas to make their partner feel special for Valentines Day. As much as I love to celebrate the day of love, I do believe that no one should wait for February 14th to do something special for your love, make every day about treasuring your love! There is a lot of pressure around this day, and usually a lot of money involved, so pick and choose what would make your partner actually feel special.

DWake up before your partner and surprise him/her with coffee in bed.Waking up to the smell of coffee and the smile of your love, should brighten up anyone's day!

BACK TO BASICS

Leaving a cute love note in your partners bag, or wallet might sound a little high school but I swear it is the cutest thing to find!

Make a card

CREATIVITY

My husband and I have taken up making greeting cards for each other and I can tell you, it is so much fun and you can actually say what you want to say! I love some of the cards you can buy, but this is just way more personal. If you don't feel that creative, buy a card that has an empty inside to really express your thoughts and love.

Take Out

SURPRISE WITH A FAVOURITE

Bring home your partners favourite bottle of wine, and take-out! To be honest, we love a good pizza in bed with Netflix! I would prefer that over an over-priced meal at the restaurant (but everyone is different!). I love going out for a great meal, but it definitely does not have to be on Valentines Day!

Couple Things

RELAX TOGETHER

How about a little surprise for a couples massage, or a steam together. This can just make any day special and there is nothing better than quality time with your partner and something for your zen!

So Valentines Day or not, these are five ideas to make your partner feel special. Don't just wait for the Day that is "all about love" but make everyday about it! It is easy to get wrapped up with a busy life, work, sports, TV, social media - but in the end, Love is all that matters (just imagine your life without it for a second!).
