Neya Couture brought evening gowns with a little Indian inspiration to the runway of Toronto Fashion Week. The cuts and fabrics of some of the gowns in the collection reminded me much of indian sarees and suits, especially with the embroidery. Candace Daniela did amazing with her well-rounded collection of men’s and women’s pieces, with an emphasis and focus on outerwear. The combination of wool, alpaca, fur and leather was beautiful and most importantly very wearable for Canadian winters.
