One of the final steps in setting up and finalizing our studio here in Berlin was the floral and plant life. Although seemingly simple, there is definitely a formula to follow to ensure that your space looks less like a jungle and more like a tastefully curated Pintrest-worthy space. Because everyone wants that, right? We discovered that you really only need four types of plant life in your space for instant transformation. You’ll see it when we take you on a tour of our studio, but in the meantime, have a look below to see how you can instantly elevate your own space too:
one / POTTED PLANT
Emphasis on the singular plant, versus a million different pots of plants. We find that having too many plants to care for like this can be difficult and also disappointing. So we just picked up one single two-stemmed pot of these beautiful orchids. Any space or surface they sit in is instantly chic, and they seep this luscious scent into our home. Win win!
two / SINGLE STEM BLOOM
While bouquets of flowers are beautiful and many of the same bloom is very chic, a single stem in a mason jar has a somewhat romantic and inspiring allure to it. Finished off with a Chanel ribbon, and this single Peony stem is probably one of my favourites!
three / SINGLE STEM LEAF
This simple but powerfully effective leaf is exactly what these thin-necked vases were made for. We picked this up at the flower market for only €1, and it breathes serious life into this little corner of the studio.
four / SUCCULENTS
These adorable and insanely cute little potted plants require almost no care, and look perfect as just one, or three, or a whole stack load (versus the potted plants discussed above!). We are still on the search for the perfect little cacti / succulents for our studio, but this photo via our Pintrest is giving us serious inspiration.
