Trend Alert: Ultimate styling at Zimmermann NYFW

The Zimmermann FW18 show was just beyond! I was not physically at the show, but the pieces and especially the styling of the collection just blew me away. Zimmermann is all about femininity, florals with a touch of bohemian style and even a bit of cowboy. I think there is a lot of key trends we can pick up from the Zimmermann runway show, so let's have a closer look!

ASYMETRICAL | LAYERS | FUR

The beautiful layers of the dress is just so nicely paired with the high, slouchy boots! I love it especially with the draped coat and the addition of texture with the faux fur.

To me, this is a great way to combining the girl boss vibe with lots of femininity. Some might say it is not the same, it is not a belt bag but really to me the look was accomplished without having to commit to a bag I am unsure of buying.

BELTS | BELTS | BELTS

It is clearly all about the waist belt again. For Fall/Winter the belt is a must, is doesn't matter whether styled on top of a dress and just peaking out from underneath a beautiful coat, or right on top of a jacket of trench! I adore this look because it brings out the female figure and adds so much style.

I know, I will take so many notes and inspiration from this amazing show for my upcoming looks. I am in the process of adding to my belt collection to be able to just throw on a belt over a dress or trench! I love how easy a look can be dressed up, which a simple accessory like a waist belt! Thank you Zimmermann for being so inspiring, yet again!
